YES, YOU ARE PURE GOODNESS!

Society gives people so many ways to feel bad about themselves. It comes through family, parenting, siblings, partners, friends, media, employers, teachers, magazines, TV, radio. Essentially this creates a negative image of yourself.
You’re too fat, too skinny, too ugly, too stingy, too lazy, too critical, too this, or too that. It’s amazing that most people grow up and feel good about themselves. But everyone knows that at their very core, they are pure goodness. Even a murderer, a rapist, and a terrorist has a spark of goodness within that has become deeply obscured by negativity. This of course is an extreme example. For most people, it’s that demon in the darkness that pops up periodically that prevents them shining their brightest. But it’s a limitation all the same, and inherently, the inner recesses demand freedom.
It’s one thing to intellectually know that you are inherently pure goodness, but it is another thing to actually feel it experientially. And it’s only when you feel that pure goodness pulsating within like a bright light, that you can start to see it in everyone around you.
Just for one day, start by dropping any negative self chatter. I’m too this or I’m too that. Leave it outside of yourself. Find yourself a quiet space. Outside in nature is best. Allow yourself to drift into a deeply relaxed state using any means you know. It maybe a meditation, or it maybe a visualisation or memory of something that brings back that overwhelming feeling of pure goodness. Once it enters, allow yourself to immerse in it. Bathe in it. Be in it. Be IT. BE. This is actually who you really are. It’s just that you’ve got yourself caught up in all the ‘non real stuff’. In Vedic terms it’s called ‘maya’ or illusion.
The illusion gives you a distorted image of how you are. The reality is that you are pure goodness. Imagine seeing the world through these eyes? It’s a very different vision of everything including yourself. So so so beautiful.
Now’s the day!
