September 3, 2014

One of the common hazards of eating is making a poor food choice when a strong sense of hunger develops. Often at these times we tend to choose items that are too sweet or salty or full of fats, and additionally we often order more than we need. Our mental appetite overrides our physical requirement.

All it takes is 10 minutes of organisation so that we are never separate from some fresh salad, fruit, or nuts.

Practical tip: cut up some sticks of carrot, celery, capsicum, cucumber and pack them in a lunch box along with some unsalted mixed nuts. Depending on your work, you may elect to keep them at your desk or in your car. As soon as you start to feel a little hungry, simply graze away as much as like. This is a very effective way of reducing calories, increasing nutrients, and effortlessly dropping weight.
